Cylinder musical box with serial no. 36360, Gamme no. 1403. Keywind with ratchet lever conversion, Forte piano, plays 12 airs. The bedplate is stamped 'Nicole Freres a Geneva,' with a hinged flap at one end and a case of rosewood with strapwork marquetry decoration. Tunes include God Save the Queen and Rule Britannia, two per turn.

Object history	The lever conversion has been carried out at some point in the distant past. Dating from ca. 1860, it would have been a late box for a keywind mechanism and may have been modified by the factor as original. Records state that this box was, at one point, at Osterley Park House.
