The bedplate is stamped 'Nicole Freres a Geneva,' with a hinged flap at one end and a case of rosewood with strapwork marquetry decoration. Tunes include God Save the Queen and Rule Britannia, two per turn.

| Object history | The lever conversion has been carried out at some point in the distant past. Dating from ca. 1860, it would have been a late box for a keywind mechanism and may have been modified by the factor as original. Records state that this box was, at one point, at Osterley Park House. |
