Centrepiece made up of three sections. White porcelain, in three tiers, with a basket at the top. The lowest tiers is in the form of an arbour with four arched openings, each with a balcony. The corners are scrolled, with shells at the bottom and heads ending in scrolls at the top. The central tier consists of a pedestal with lattice-work sides and scrolled corners, supporting shells with helmeted heads above, and ending in scrolls. On the third tier are four dolphins resting against a palm-tree in the centre and supporting shells on their heads. Four smaller shells are supported by palm-tree which is surmounted by the lattice-work basket. The whole stands on a base with four incurved sides and is painted and gilded with bands, diaper and floral sprays.
