Figure of 'Winter' seated on a container for sweetmeats, of hard-paste porcelain. The figure wears an ermine lined coat, and a waistcoat tied at the waist with a sash. He holds an ice skate aloft in his right hand, the pair to it being at his left foot. He is seated on a basket (pierced at the base) formed by rococo scrollwork.
