Liner for a veilleuse (food-warmer) in creamware. The outward tapering walls rise from a flat bottom to an everted flanged rim. A heavy lead-glaze of slightly bluish colour covers the object. Three stilt marks are on the base.

This objet was acquired to complete the veilleuse (food-warmer) C.26-1945 already in the collection. This liner is unmarked, but was possibly made by Wedgwood, whose factory mark is found on veilluse C.26-1948.
