Physical description
Cup and saucer of porcelain with an underglaze blue ground and painted in colours. Moulded with flowers enclosing small panels and fluted between. The ground is 'Littler's blue'. In the panels are bunches of flowers.
Marks and inscriptions
  • Crossed 'L's and a string of dots (In blue)
  • 'POUR Y PARVENIR' (Painted in red. The crest of the Manners family referring to the 3rd Duke of Rutland or his son.)
