Clock in long mahogany case, inlaid with holly and satinwood. The brass dial plate, partly gilt and partly silvered, shows the hours, the minutes, the seconds and the days of the month, and is fitted with a strike-silent hand. The head, which is raised in the centre, is inlaid with a leafwork device at the top and has a fretwork panel on each side. At each of the front angles is a detached fluted column. On either side of the round head of the door of the body is an inlaid radiating design. On the front of the moulded plinth is a raised panel with incurved angles, outside which are also two inlaid radiating designs. On the dial plate, the space outside the two circles is enriched with floral scrollwork in openwork
