Slip of embroidered canvas in silks in shades of green, yellow, blue, brown and black in tent stitch. The ground is unworked. The edges are turned and hemmed. The slip depicts a stylised filbert nut, two branches bearing large nuts and leaves which gently intertwine. The stem is cut at the lower end. A start has been made in cutting out the slip for application.
