Ribbon of brocaded silk taffeta. On a green ground, divided horizontally at regular intervals by bands of black and red velvet, are bunches of roses. The roses are white and red with details in green and black, and their leaves are copper coloured. In each bunch are other flowers in yellow, red and mauve.

The ground has black, yellow and mauve additional flushing warps, and cut at the end of each bunch of flowers. The red, white and copper colours are formed by brocaded wefts and bound on the back of the ribbon only. The bands of velvet are formed by cut pile wefts.
