Ribbon of Jacquard woven silk brocaded in white and deep pink. At the top and bottom is a floral motif of thistles, shamrock and rose. In between is the Prince of Wales's feathers with the motto 'Ich Dien', a wreath about the names 'ALBERT EDWARD PRINCE OF WALES AND PRINCESS ALEXANDRIA OF DENMARK', the words 'MARRIED MARCH 10 1863. GOD BLESS THE ROYAL PAIR', and in a scroll is 'PROSPERITY ATTEND THEM'. The foot of the ribbon is trimmed with narrow white braid with a diamond motif, and a fringe about an inch long. A narrow strip at the top of the ribbon, turned over to the back and stuck down to strengthen the end, has on it the inscription 'T. STEVENS MANFR COVENTRY'.
