Silk taffeta ribbon in fancy tartan in red, green, white and yellow. The centre is white with a red warp area to one side and a green warp area to the other, divided from each other by narrow cannelé stripes in red, black and yellow silk. Weft threads in white, green, pink, red, purple and black cross to make areas of stripes and a plain white centre to the ribbon. The ribbon has deckle edges of weft loops. Two pieces of this ribbon are sewn together, and they would have been worn as the fall of a sash.
