Furnishing fabric of brocaded silk satin and cotton. Woven with a large scale floral meander in coloured cottons and silks on a white silk and cotton ground. In the meander are ears of corns, roses, berries and other fruit and flowers. The panel is half a loom width with a symmetrical design.
Brocaded satin with the pattern bound in 4/1 twill by a binding warp taken from the ground warp threads (every 4th thread is used to bind the brocaded wefts). The warp is of paired threads S thrown silk. The weft ground of paired threads Z spun cotton. Brocaded wefts of floss silk. The width of the repeat is unknown.
