Circular button of silver gilt with a domed back. With enamel inlay. The design consists of a ring made by two thick wires twisted together and soldered where they join and are backed onto a domed disc which is soldered and beaten onto the ring. The enamel decoration is set within the ring and is black with five deep blue oblong blobs. There is a shank for sewing purposes at the back. Reference number 390 TGT.
