Plate of hard-paste porcelain painted with enamels and gilded. Painted with various mythological and allegorical scenes. In the middle, in red, is the Rape of Europa signed 'S.B.F.' Mazarine-blue border with scrollwork in gold, and with reserved panels in red containing scenes. In one, Fame with Venice, a lion and Cupid and signed 'F. Cozzi 1780'. Another has Bacchus and Ariadne. Another has Venice and Europa alluding to the League of Cambrai. Mercury and the Three Graces are in another, the Forge of Vulcan in another, and Minerva expelling Mars in another panel.
