Plate of earthenware, decorated in the middle with a photographic scene in brown.
Object history
A typewritten account states that the plate was made for Mortlock's the London dealers by Brown, Westhead Moore Co. of Stoke-on-Trent in 1892. The process of affixing the photographic film having been carried out by a chemist in Nottingham before firing in the potteries.
