Plate of soft-paste porcelain painted with enamels and gilded. In the centre is a figure of a young man with a spear and shield after a figure discovered during excavations at Gragnano. Round the rim are four oval medallions in the manner of classical cameos enclosing a bust with the inscription 'MUSEO FARNESIANO'.
