Frieze tile, fritware, with inscription Iran (probably Kashan), early 14th century.
Physical description
One of a set of forty, fritware, rectangular, with raised inscription in Naskh script coloured in cobalt blue, surrounded by a background in of fine scrollwork of half palmettes in lustre, glazed.
