Porcelain plate of circular form with slightly shaped rim. Decorated around the flange with pink enamel, ornamented by a stylised gilt motif enclosing pendant leaves, between two bands of gold. The central circular reserve is outlined with a narrow red line surrounded by a band of brown enamel waves, picked out in gilt. A Spanish pointer, painted in naturalistic enamel colours, faces to the left, his left front paw raised.
