Plate, slightly lobed outline, with flat sloping rim moulded with scrolls and wreaths and gilt to match the preceding number. The centre is painted with a bunch of cherries, roses etc. in bright colours; the border is painted with small sprigs on a pale buff ground.

This dish and C.62-1939 are the only pieces retained from the dessert service bequeathed to the museum. The remainder was sold to Mr. J. Rochelle Thomas, Georgian Galleries, 10-12 King Street SW1 (£35).
