Plate of porcelain painted with enamels and gilded. With the arms of the Earl of Coventry on the rim. In the middle is a group of flowers painted against a brown background on a medallion. The rim has a pale lavender-blue ground and a border of formal foliage in gold. The arms, with the motto 'CANDIDE ET CONSTANTER', are executed in bronze-colour and gold.
