Lobed rim moulded with scrollwork and flowers in relief, forming panels enriched with gilding, and the panels are painted with pink roses on a groundwork of gilt spots. In the middle, within a formal gilt border, is a seaport scene with a seated statue on a quay in the foreground.

Object history
Perhaps made at Swansea from Billingsley's recipe. The roses are in the manner of Billingsley. The seaport scene was probably painted in London (from the register).
