Plate of soft-paste porcelain painted in monochrome green enamel and gilded. Shaped rim with the well painted with a Chinese lady holding a parasol in a landscape. The flange is decorated with an elaborate pattern of shells, flowers and scrolls in gold, and with four reserves enclosing Chinese figures in green monochrome enamel.
