Artist/Maker | |
Place of origin |
Square tile with stylised design of a sunflower with a smiling face in the centre and a long, thin leaf in each corner, forming a frame. The design is made up from a cut paper pattern, one half forming the design, the other a negative version of it (although this design is not exactly symmetrical), all in white and yellow. The yellow ground has been cut with small irregular hoels, breaking up the colour.
