Inlaid in buff slip into a black ground are four kidney-shaped outlines containing an acorn-shaped cross placed above wing-like boughs, the four crosses radiate into the centre where there is a four-leaved motif, also buff-coloured. The latter shape is halved and appears eight times on the tile edge to form a repeat. Originally in St Matthew's Church, Aigburth, Scotland Road, Liverpool (built 1848).
