Oblong tobacco box, enamel on copper, transfer-printed in red and painted in polychrome enamels. On the lids, peasants playing blind man's buff in a meadow, after a painting by Antoine Watteau, entitled Le Colin Maillard, which was engraved by E. Brion. The sides and bottom are painted with bouquets and scattered sprays of flowers. With a chased metal mount and concave sides.
