Shallow, circular shaped bowl that flares outwards to a rounded rim, made of carved wood, painted and varnished on the inside with vertical registers of red floral patterns and medallions against a yellow-ochre background. The circular lid extends to a bulbous upper portion with a rounded finial, decorated with a combination of painted flowers and pierced openwork.
