Artist/Maker
Place of origin

Screen-printed and discharge-dyed grey silk dress fabric with a design reminiscent of a mosaic of broken china fragments. The design depicts a detail of mosaic, which includes architectural images of Corinthian pillar finials and other fragments of pattern in gold, and gold-and-black.
This design was based on research made in Barcelona, developed from paintings of some parts of the mosaic wall Spanish Catalan architect, Antoni Gaudí created in the Park Güell.

Helen David founded English Eccentrics, a fashion and textile design company, in 1982. Since its inception the company has expanded its production range to include furniture, fine art prints and other decorative objects for the interior. Helen David maintains that the company's goal is to produce luxury products in limited quantities, drawing on high quality materials.
