Furnishing fabric of double cloth. It consists of a small scale symmetrical arrangement of leaf forms within ogival compartments formed of stems, flanked by a bulbous stem containing more compressed leaf ornament. The sample has selvedges on both sides, and contains six repeats (7.875 inches) of pattern in the width of the material. There is no repeat in the height.

The warps of the double cloth are of dark blue and white silk, and the wefts of dark blue and olive green wool. The blues are woven together.
