The bowl is painted in white with two hounds and two stags alternately arranged in four compartments formed by festoons of fruit and foliage, in green, yellow and blue, hanging from a border of scrolls and surrounding a central medallion. The dish is part of a group of Catalan glasses of the 16th century which are decorated with dogs running among foliage. There is one in the Corning Museum, two in the decorative arts museum in Barcelona, and one in the Museo di Vetrario di Murano, in Venice.
