Furnishing fabric of screen-printed cotton. With an abstract geometric design composed of parallel stripes of orange, purple, khaki, dark brown and green. The majority of stripes are narrow and used in short blocks with intersecting shapes. Complex shapes in the centre are formed by parallel zig-zag stripes. Broader stripes run parallel and next to the selvedge. Stripes of the same size are used in the centre of the design at intervals. The whole design is symmetrical about the centre vertical axis. The colourway is orange, brown and lime. Sewn at the top are three small samples in different colourways (each 8 inches x 8 inches): pink, yellow and orange; purple, blue and tan; green, blue and red.
