Furnishing fabric of screen-printed cotton satin. With an abstract design of large black circles and rectangles printed in black on a white ground. Superimposed on this is a regular pattern of large grey dots and a random distribution of smaller dots at the edges of the large dotted area. The rectangles which spring from the selvedge have no dots in their central area, whereas the circles at the centre of the design are invaded by the smaller dots.
