Woven silk and metal thread. This ribbon consisting of three warp threads 1) The large brown leaves in gros de tour, the brown warp thread has been cut to create a pile imitating a ciselé velvet effect. The outline of the large brown leaves is also woven in gros de tour, but this remains uncut. The brown warp has also been used for the smaller brown leaves; 2) A warp ground of light green taffeta weave visible in the centre of the ribbon; 3) Dark green warp in cannetille weave flanking the light green centre. Metal file thread brocaded throughout as are the pink leaves.
