Object history
"Primavera" was the first printed velvet to be produced by Jack Lenor Larsen in 1960. It was inspired by the paintings of Gustav Klimt. At first, clients were unsure how to use these textiles in their interiors, but the printed velvets rapidly achieved great popularity.
