Woven furnishing textile sample with a light navy background with a design of large open blue flowers with curling stamens, clusters of leaves and interlaced sandy-coloured tendrils. The textile is woven in wool and cotton with a printed warp to produce subtle shading in the pattern.
There is a 1/2" selvedge on the right; all other edges being oversewn with machine blanket stitch. Four metal rings are inset along the top and a small card is stapled on the lower edge with the inscription 'Printed warp effect about 1900 A.D.'
