Card Houses, German/English; early 20th century

Design: chromolithographs; backs are green on six cards; 19 backs are printed with letters of the alphabet and name of animals

Equipment required: arranged in 2 different types of characters - animals, and people; some cards have a square cut out of the centre of the top edge and others have tongues at the centre; the tongues slot into the cut out areas.

This is not strictly a card game with rules but helps children with dexterity and eye hand coordination.
Also the animals cards show letters of the names which correspond with the name of the animal and the picture
