Fragment of a roundel from a tunic, tapestry-woven in coloured wools and undyed linen thread on linen warps. The roundel has groups of figures enclosed by curved stems. One group remains and portion of a second. In the first, two figures are standing with upraised hands and fingers outstretched over the head of a smaller standing figure. There is a Greek/Coptic? inscription above them. Of the other, there remain two heads and portion of an arcade of two arches. There are inscriptions in Greek under each of these arches. The top of the piece has two border patterns, both floral. The inner border is approx. 11mm wide and the outer one, edged in black, is approx. 5mm wide.
