A fragment of plain woven blue wool, with tapestry woven decoration in white linen thread. Simple selvedge on one side. This small piece has been sewn to T.229-1975 (smaller band). The bands are glued to cardboard and a hand written label (in ink) says : 'Found on the mummy of a Woman buried at San (Tanis) S. mound. Mr Petrie's excavations 1884'.
