Object history | The whole is hand made by various members of one family and used for many years. There are present season notebooks and reference books to the players |

The playing surface has 5 panels and 4 folds, depicting a 10 hole golf course. EAch hole consists of a series of circles within each other which are centred by a small green circle and a flag (the hole). These circles are ringed by a yellow area which is a bunker. There are additional `bunkers' across the fairways which are depicted by grid like areas of white, green and brown squares on strips which lead up to the holes. A strip of water runs across the first, 3rd and 4th fairways and develops into Lake Oberon and Lake Titania in the centre of the board. The aerieal portrait is completed by the scattering of tree tops which surround each fairway. A compass is also situated on the board as is a club house and a row of groundsmen's cottages.
