Historical context | Rewards: n/a Forfeits: n/a No. of Players: any Equipment required: cricketers score boards and details of clubs' performance cards Rules: The moves and scores are determined by cards; they denote the bowlers ' moves and the batsmen's strokes. while dice are used for the scoring. The pitch has two panels, with markings on the reverse side to indicate that the right side of the pitch is the Batting End and the left side the Bowling End. There is a white square slightly above the centre in the green pitch; from it extend 9 white strips. In the centre square are the batsman and the wicket. Above this square is a small rectangular strip where the wicket keeper is situated. Below the centre square stands the second wicket and batsman, and 4 different types of bowlers. Each player is denoted by a white ring which has been lined with either pink or black. Each strip from the central square contains 3, or if one contains a bowler, 3½ such rings.
