Furnishing fabric of plate printed cotton. The design is printed in red on white ground with rural scenes. Among these are sheep-shearing, sheep-dipping, a cart returning from haymaking, and a group eating and drinking at a table under a tree. With a cottage in the background. Filled in by extra engraving of grass and additional foliage. Made from four pieces sewn together. There is one, and sometimes two, pale blue threads in the selvage.
