| Bibliographic reference | Mélanie Riffel, Sophie Rouart, Marc Walter. Toile de Jouy. Printed Textiles in the Classic French Style (London: Thames and Hudson, 2003), p. 172. Riffel and Rouart date the curtains made to this design in the Musée de la Toile de Jouy at Jouy-en-Josas to 1792-4 on the basis that Huet began working with Oberkampf in about 1783-4 and Huet exhibited this design at the Salon in Paris in 1802, at which time he indicated that he had gone to the Musée d'Histoire naturelle to paint from nature. They records the design number as D151 (p. 214). There is a piece in the Musée des Arts décoratifs in Paris (Ucad, Inv. 9753)
