Textile fragment of woven silk velvet. A small piece of a large-patterned pile on pile velvet bearing crowns and formal roses in compartments formed by twisted cords or stems. Showing only part of one large triple rose at the lower end of which twisted stems diverge around the top portion of a crown. To the left is part of a smaller rose. The pile is of deep pink-red silk. Binding warps and weft are of cream silk.
