Furnishing fabric of silk with a design taken from an 8th-9th century silk in Sens Cathedral. It consists of confronted horses within a roundel, the frame of which is decorated with circles. Between the roundels is a pair of confronted birds. The pattern is woven in bands of alternating green with yellow and lilac with white on deep tan silk.
