Furnishing fabric of silk tissue woven with silk and metal threads. With a symmetrical vertical repeat design of birds seated amongst vine foliage and grapes entwined with wheat-ears. The birds are alternately woven in pale-green silk and silver thread, and the remainder of the foliage is woven in metal threads on a dark blue ground.
