Furnishing fabric tissue of silk satin woven with gold thread. The length is divided vertically into two equal parts with each containing a design of twining vine stems enclosing grapes and vine leaves, and edged on either side by a geometrical wheat-ear pattern containing birds alternately facing left and right. The birds are shown in full down the centre of the length, but only half of each bird is shown at the edges. The design is woven in gold thread on a crimson satin ground.
