Furnishing fabric of silk tissue woven with metal threads. The width is filled with a square design consisting of a flower and leaf motif in the centre in metal thread and black on a woven silver thread background. It is enclosed by a decorative border 2 inches wide. Two peacocks face each other in black on a metal thread background and above this are designs of two vines and grapes balancing at either side woven in metal threads on a background of black. The design is slightly overlapped by a repeat.
