Furnishing fabric of silk and wool damask. The repeat consists of pairs of interlocked, horizontal meandering bands with running and leaping geometricised stags. These are separated by stylised conifers and vegetation. The design is carried out alternately in cream warp face satin on yellow ochre weft face woollen twill, and yellow ochre weft face woollen twill on cream warp face satin.
