Furnishing fabric of brocaded rayon and silk with a mink-brown silk warp with a coarser rayon weft in shades of blue/green forming a waved and vertical twill ground. The lower hem has a finely striped crimson, purple, yellow and blue band 7 inches wide formed by a change in the ground weft and the floating of supplementary rayon wefts. Above this a foliate meandering stem encloses a row of three pelicans brocaded in yellow and crimson rayon. The top is turned and hemmed with curtain rings sewn along its length.
