Object history | RF number is 1975/3080. Transferred from the Bethnal Green Museum in February, 1976. The silk was originally given by Mr. Thomas Wardle. These silks would most likely have been imported by Mr Wardle (either in the raw or woven stage) for his own manufacture in Leek, Staffordshire. |
