Snuff box, of gilt metal, with enamel on copper plaque, painted in polychrome enamels, and gilded, mounted in the lid. Shaped box, the sides lobed and repousse with flowers in panels, a floral device chased on the bottom. On the lid is painted a landscape with ruins of a columned building by a river and two figures with sheep in the foreground. it is enclosed by raised gilt scrolls within a narrow border of dark blue diapered in white.
